MILK magazine is coming to Cambodia, and after our amazing Kampot launch, what better way to celebrate than to have an all-day extravaganza in our favourite Phnom Penh neighbourhood – and it’s all for free!
The magazine is celebrating Cambodia’s latest art, music and street culture, so we have a creative feast for you to dive right into.
Our centre point will be Simone Bistro & Art, a new cafe hotspot in the up and coming Old Lake area (lazy central Phnom Penh people – it’s not as far as you think it is!), who will be serving their delicious food and drinks throughout the event.
We’re kicking off at 2pm with an outdoor craft market from PeePee Art & Crafts Market, where local artists will be selling their latest creations. 10k skateshop and Skateistan Cambodia will be sending over their crew to show off their skating skills in the square outside Simone Art. Live painters will be decorating the walls throughout the day and night.
In the afternoon, the super-label Klap Yahandz will be sending their hottest acts onto our live music stage – including superstars Sreyleak and Nen Tum. We’ll follow with some more live music from some new local bands (we’ll keep you updated!).
Cambodia’s only burlesque duo will usher in our evening events. They’ll be followed by our amazing DJs:
– Lafidki
– Caro&Lisa
– DJ Lorna
– DJ Akua Mercy
– DJ MOUDY
VJ JokJok also will be putting on a live video mix after dark. We’re getting all excited – see you on Saturday, Phnom Penh!
